Video games
and PC games has entertained us for decades. Every gamer has a journey of the
worst games they ever played. Every year almost hundreds of games have been
released for countless systems and platforms but not every game puts a positive
and marvelous impact on the game or users. The following video games are
noted down for their negative reviews. Video games can have bad reviews for a
number of reasons like low quality, out dated graphics, so many glitches,
boring concepts and so many further.
Conclusion : These are few of the games which must be played with extra precaution before going to switch them on your PC or play station.
1. Hatred (PC, 2015)
Hatred is an isometric twin-stick shooter game developed by
Destructive Creations. In this game you were in a villain role that was sick of
this world and people living in it and would like to kill as many as you want
till you alive violently. The graphics were good but the game has no sense to
play. The execution was very poor that the only way to heal your wounds is to
stand by a wounded victim and press the Q key to finish them off. The
environment and routes are so confusing and background remains black and white
all the time. These are some points which make this game not so interesting.
2. Aliens: Colonial
Marines (PC/PS3/Xbox 360, 2013)
Aliens Colonial Marines
is basically a game of aliens and a complete alien world developed by Gearbox
Software. This game is criticized for containing so many bugs at the launch and
poorly implemented i.e. low quality graphics, unbalanced gameplay, graphic
glitches and bad story telling. The game is between the marines and the aliens,
you are the marines and you have to protect each other from the aliens attack.
It suffers from a severe lack of optimization on PS3 and 360. This game is
needed a little more imagination and a lot polish.
3. Ride to Hell: Retribution (PC/PS3/Xbox 360, 2013)
Ride to Hell: Retribution
is an action-adventure game launched on June 2013 for Microsoft Windows,
PlayStation, Xbox 360 and PS3. This game is developed by Eutechnyx and
published by Deep Silver. This game is criticizing for its bad plot for showing
ridiculous side of sex, violence and masculinity. This game is considered as
worst game of all time; Starkey gave 1.0 out of 10 to this game. EGM described
this game as underdeveloped insulting mess with numerous bugs and glitches.
August 2013, Metacritic gave score 19 out of 100, 14 for Xbox 360 and 13 for
PS3, the lowest scoring PS3 games of all time.
4. Resident Evil 6 (PC/PS3/Xbox 360, 2012)
Resident Evil 6 is an
action-adventure third person shooter video game developed and published by
Capcom. This game is first released for the play station 3 and Xbox 360 on 2
October 2012 and for Microsoft Windows on 22 March 2013. It was released again
for the play station 4 and Xbox one on 29 March 2016. The storyline is centered
around their four interweave players, and each player has unique abilities and
styles. The game got mixed reviews from critics; some reviewers praised this
game’s storyline and themes, however the four interwoven campaigns were
criticized as well as the game couldn’t make impact of its horror genre. Graphics
were better than the Resident Evil 5. The actions and stunts were good but the
rooms were too crowded for the co-op split screen. The most excitatory part in
the game is playing the cut scenes in the middle of the battle where you can’t
dodge the enemies attack. Expectations were high with this game, Capcom could
have done better.
5. Resistance 2 (PlayStation 3, 2008)
Resistance
2 is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Insomniac
Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment released for PS3. The game
includes many weapons from Resistance: Fall of Man. The weapons are a mix of
1950s human technology and more advanced alien technology. In first game there
was no limit on the player for the number of weapons carried but in Resistance
2 the players have the limit to carry only two weapons at a time as well as
limited numbers of grenades. Like a great impressive movie with so much actions
happening in front of you but you feel nothing. The shooting is boring,
inconsistent levels and the enemies repeat themselves constantly.
6. Limbo of the Lost (PC, 2008)
Limbo
of the lost is a traditional point-and-click adventure game developed by
Majestic Studios for PC on 2 June 2008. Limbo of the lost follows the adventure
of Benjamin Briggs, the historic captain of the Mary Celeste. The game put
Briggs in the Limbo. Captain Briggs is portrayed as that he has insect phobia.
Throughout the game, he must confront his fear in order to complete puzzles.
All of that it was worst adventure game ever that on a level so twisted, incomplete,
plot was not clear and full of ugliness. This game is so insane and could actually
have been funny. It’s torture and will make you cry.
7. Sonic the Hedgehog (multiple formats, 2006)
Sonic the Hedgehog is a platform video game developed by
Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis console. Sonic the
Hedgehog was influenced by Super Mario series. This game was released on
multiple formats like Nintendo DS and 3DS, iOS, Android/Chrome OS, Wii, Xbox,
Xbox360, Play Station 2 and 3, PSP and Microsoft Windows. Reviewers lamented
its glitches, extremely bad graphics, annoying load times and unstable camera.
The only good thing about this game is its music but in short it was worst
sonic game ever.
8. 50 Cent: Bulletproof (Multiple formats, 2005)
50 Cent: Bulletproof is an action video game developed by
Genuine Games, Interscope, High Voltage Software and Published by Sierra
Entertainment. This game is released on 17 November 2005 for PS2, PS3, Xbox and
Xbox 360. The game features member of the G-unit rap crew as a gang and
revolves around protagonist hip hop musician 50 Cent’s search for revenge
against the hitman who attempted to murder him. 50 Cent: Bulletproof dignifies
the worst images, intensity of violence, blood sprays, bullets hit flesh and
dead bodies. Bulletproof is clumsy, linear and overly difficult.
9. Batman : Dark Tomorrow (Game Cube, Xbox, 2003)
Batman: Dark Tomorrow is an action-adventure video game
developed by HotGen and published by Campco for the Nintendo, GameCube and
Microsoft Xbox platforms. It is based on DC comics’ character Batman. There
have been so many good super hero games available and we love to play but still
it was tough to trust DC comic games again after playing this game or these
kinds of games. The reviews for this game were extremely bad that the Play
Station 2 version was cancelled before it could be released. Metacritic has
given 29/100 for GameCube and 25/100 for Xbox. Batman: Dark Tomorrow had bad
camera movements, repetitive task and terrible gameplay.
10.
Daikatana
(PC/N64/GameBoy Color, 2000)
John Romero’s Daikatana is a first
person shooter video game developed by Ion Storm and Published by Kemco for
Microsoft Windows Nintendo 64 and Game Boy released in 2000. By 2000, numerous
games based on more advanced graphics technology had already been released,
Daikatana could not match up with the advance technology and therefore graphics
were terrible. Poor AI implementation, awful generic FPS, too many levels per
episode and out dated tech were the biggest complaints.
Conclusion : These are few of the games which must be played with extra precaution before going to switch them on your PC or play station.
